NAKHON SAWAN - Thirty-four illegal migrants from Myanmar were caught travelling on a bus from the northern border area to Bangkok in Banphot Phisai district early on Monday morning. The bus was stopped at a checkpoint on Phahonl Yothin road, on the Nakhon Sawan-Kamphaeng Phet route, Thairath Online reported. There were 44 Myanmar passengers travelling on the bus, of whom 10 were registered migrant workers. The 34 others, 16 men and 18 women, were illegal migrants. The illegal migrants were taken to Banphot Phisai police station for further questioning before being deported home.
